Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

It all depends what they are improvements they make. Most of the new updates which have have come out "Support for up to 6 nozzles" are very user specific. I haven't really noticed anything new which has come out over the last year I have noticeably benefited from. The models I currently print look ...

Re: I think I figured out why S3D print times are so off and how to fix it

I was wondering if the S3D software could detect these settings if you did a print via USB? The software could pick up the time it took to heat up the build plate and nozzle before the print even starts as well as know exactly how long the print took. So it may be able to pick up the accurate jerk a...

Ditto Printing Visual When Placing Model

Hello, First Feature When Placing a model on the build plate, it would be nice if you could enable an option to turn on a shadow model which is the same distance apart as a dual nozzle printer. This only needs to be when placing a model onto the build plate and not during the g-code or tool path pro...

Import grouped process and swap support nozzle

There are 2 main features I would like to be added to the next update. When creating multiple processes. I would like the option to not only group them together but then save that group so I can create a new file and import that group into that file. I would also like a feature for dual prints which...

Re: Fix for Incorrect hole sizes / object dimension

Hello, There is a change scale % option with uniform scaling if this is what you mean? Also I print a lot of mechanical parts on the 3d printer's and the problem is mostly the design and the stl settings. When printing holes, I have to add 0.3mm to the size of the hole in my design so it will print ...

Re: Supports from build bed options

This is something I would like as well.

At the moment, I have to increase the raft offset from the part just so the support fits on correctly and wasting plastic in doing so.

Re: Feature Request : Mouse Ears

Well you can kind of cheat and do this using the support function. It looks like it might work but not sure as haven't tried it.

Here are some settings you could try.

Re: Adjustable infill

This is something which would make a good difference. There is a way of doing this at the moment. Lets say your printing a 20mm cube with 0.2mm Layer Height. You could create the first process with 5% infill and to stop printing at 16mm high using the advanced > Layer Modifications section, Then cre...

Re: Feature Request : Mouse Ears

I'm not sure there would be a good way to know where about's a model would start curling as having your bed slightly out could be the issue so the software wouldn't be able to accommodate for this. Isn't it possible to brim the hole model by setting the distance from part at 0mm?

Re: cannot print using simplify 3d

Are you sure your printer is connected correctly?

Are you able to control your printer using the machine controller built into the software?
