Re: OK, Time to Start Yet Another "Where is Version 5? " Thread

This "company" is done - move on, there will be nothing coming from here anymore.

Re: Simplify3D will not start

Same issue here... And the guys here give a shit and don't even provide a workaround??? Clearly shows which direction this software is heading.

Re: SLA Printing???

Support for the Anycubic Photon would be nice (actually even a reason to buy the long announced V5 if it was included in that release).

Re: Paid upgrade For 2020 upcoming Version 5.0

Nice move - instead of fixing the bugs that are in the old version, let's simply call it a new version and develop some greed to squeeze more money out of the customers who already paid a ridiculous high price to begin with. Nice move.

Re: Anycubic I3 Mega "out of filament" being ignored?

No, it has nothing to do with the printer settings. The "always print from SD" approach is nonsense - printing via USB contains exactly the same gcode and as long as the PC does not reboot, this approach even gives you more options controlling the print via the machine control panel. The same code w...

Anycubic I3 Mega "out of filament" being ignored?

When printing from the SD card in the I3 Mega and the filament runs out, the printer goes into the pause mode and lets me change filament. When printing through S3d via USB, filament runs out and S3D keeps printing. Is there a hidden setting somewhere or is this a bug in your software? (In light of ...

Re: V4.1 Issues with walls

Pretty lame that despite all the problems, there is not a single "official" statement that the problems will be addressed. Not what I was hoping for when spending $150 on a piece of software.

Where can I download the older (functioning...) version?

With 4.1 being as buggy as it is, I would rather go back to the working 4.0.1 version - can you make this download available please? Or alternatively, post a list of bugs and when the release with the fixes will be provided? The 4.1 version causes so many issues that it is pretty much unusable and w...

Re: Printer never starts printing, but shows "Print Complete"

I have the same problem with 4.1 and an Anycubic I3 Mega.

If you go into the control panel (ctrl + p) first and connect the printer manually, it should work. If not, restart the printer and try connecting again. Definitely another bug in 4.1...

[FIXED] 4.1 major problem with supports on duplicated parts

Version 4.1 has a major bug when it comes to duplication of parts with supports. All supports show perfectly fine in the model view, but only the first part actually prints with the support. It was a standard/automatic support (from base only) in the first part. With all the bugs reported in 4.1, it...
