Ok so some more playing around, interesting results. I've attached the factory file. the issue is the Cover piece. When it's by itself I can selectively remove support and it works. I'm using S3D 3.0.1 and it worked like it shoud. 1. Open a STL model. 2. Activate support generation 3. Click on Customize Support Structures 4. Click on Generate automatic supports 5.
