Re: Gap between infill and perimiter

It also seems like your part would have weak layer-to-layer adhesion since your layers are so thick compared to what your nozzle diameter is. The max layer height I would ever print is 60% of the nozzle diameter for quick and dirty prints, which in your case would be 0.72mm. This might also help fla...

What do you suggest for pillar resolution? Right now I'm using 4.00mm, but haven't really tried messing with it much. How is it different that support infill percentages?

Re: fff for nylon

I'm ONLY printing with the 910 right now. That stuff is ridiculous strong when printing with a 0.8mm nozzle. Right now my problem is being able to remove the supports because they are printing so thick/strong. I've played around some with the Bridge and 618 and got really nice results out of them (9...

Re: Taulman 910 - Supports too thick with 0.8mm nozzle

I've been trying to play around some with the vertical separation and it's either bonded or separated too much and makes the underside of the supported areas look really nasty and lets the part sag. I'm thinking about manually adjusting the speeds when it's printing the dense support layers to see h...

Re: fff for nylon

I know this is a little bit of an old thread, but how did your prints end up coming out? What size nozzle are you using?

Taulman 910 - Supports too thick with 0.8mm nozzle

I've been printing large parts using Taulman 910 using a 0.35mm nozzle, which was stock on my PolyPrinter 229. While the parts looked good and support was easy to remove after some tweaking, the parts weren't quite strong enough compared to what I expected. I contacted Tom over at Taulman and he sug...
