Thanks, I've actually already read it and attempted most of the solutions in it. I haven't had any issues with makerware which is why I assumed it was a S3D issue. *shrug* I'll keep tinkering with it, but it's costing me a lot of time and filament. Heh.

Increasing the layers doesn't seem to have any effect. Only recourse I've seen is to bump the infill but I can't see wasting all that plastic and increasing the print times by double or triple for a part (in this case it fits into a car cup holder) that doesn't need to be super strong. Solid layers on top of infill are all messed up

I've been looking around and I see others with similar issues, but I'm not sure they're the same. Whenever I have infill that's lower than about 40% (which is usually) the gaps between the infill seem to be too wide for for anything solid to print over them. I've tried every type of infill, honeycom...
