Re: Bridging is not triggered on hollowed models

You've answered your own question. A solid 20x20x20 cube is not hollow. Edit the solid cube in a CAD package so it is hollow....and its hollow. And bridging will then apply on the downward facing surface INSIDE the hollow shape. Setting the printed infill to zero does not magically make the object ...

Bridging is not triggered on hollowed models

When I take a solid model and set infill to 0, the bridging settings are not applied to the top layers of the model. A good example is to simply take a solid 20x20x20 cube, set infill to 0, any number of perimeters. The top layer prints like the rest of the print without bridging settings applied. T...

More Macro Buttons

Can we please have at least 3 more macro buttons? I run a delta printer and have configured the existing 3 macro buttons to move my print head 1mm off the bed, and directly in front of each tower to speed up manual bed leveling. That leaves no more macro buttons for other functions. Each of the exis...

Re: Random Stops during Print

I see the pause during print issue is still present in the latest update (4.1.2) This has nothing to do with the windows serial port and is something within S3D. I have tested identical prints in Mattercontrol, Slic3r and neither of those produce pauses during print. I use the same computer, same se...

Re: Top solid layers for process1, bottom solid layers process2 not printing

I see this issue still exists in 4.1.2 I have done some testing and found that if i add a 3rd process and configure the second process to print with solid infill for that entire process then it will create that solid set of layers above the first process's not solid infill. So basically I have 3 pro...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

I agree that paying for upgrade is the norm for most software companies but I am having a hard time with doing so with S3D because from all the testing I have done with it and other slicers (which are free), there is not enough extra features to warrant it.. Yes the interface is fairly easy to use i...

Re: 3D movement view Bug Unwanted PAN motion mixed in with Rotate Motion

Correction on this work around... After some trials, it appears the work around doesn't completely fix this. If you zoom in on the model to say add supports then the issue of panning is still there but much less than it is when the Automatic setting is checked.

Re: 3D movement view Bug Unwanted PAN motion mixed in with Rotate Motion

That work-around fixes the unwanted panning of the model for me as well so it appears the "Automatic" setting is bugged

Re: S3D does not "stop" at end of print (Da Vinci)

I was seeing the same result of the print has finished but S3D was still sending G-Codes so I examined the verbose log at the end of the print and discovered this was caused by a setting in the scripts tab. If you are NOT using the .X3G format then you need to turn off (uncheck) the celebration opti...

Re: 3D movement view Bug Unwanted PAN motion mixed in with Rotate Motion

I also experience this same issue and mentioned it in this post https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8989&p=38468#p38468 over a year ago when the graphics were tweaked in the 4.01 release. This issue makes it super difficult to place manual supports when zoomed in as the model moves up/d...
