Re: Program crashes when attempting to load STL files

I have the same problem, I wrote to support and it has been a week or so since they said they would get back to me.

UM2 ABS - Does this seem right?

I am able to print flawlessly in PLA at the Simplify3D setting of 41.5mm/s however I am not getting any decent prints with ABS at similar speed. The picture below shows ABS being printed at 18mm/s and as you can see the interior support is not bonding. The outside is fine however. IMG_2281[1].JPG Su...

Re: Marvin - The search for the perfect sample

So with the adjustments made previously, it has been worse!
Worse
Worse
But that is still progress.

I will keep the slower speeds and less retraction but will up the fan back to max.

Re: Marvin - The search for the perfect sample

Best one so far.

Adjustments made:
  • lower retraction from 40 to 25 (factory)
  • more loop supports
  • changed max cooling fan from 100% to 80%

Marvin - The search for the perfect sample

If anyone has some tips on how to do the perfect marvin I am all ears. I have tried with and witout auto supports, but try as I might it is always the top loop that fails. I need it in ABS @ 0.05mm on an Ultimaker 2. IMG_2114.JPG I am now trying manual placed supports, with a lower speed (down to 30...

Small loop at end of job dissfigured

At the top of my marvin there is a loop for a keyring. But on every print it messes up. I think either it is going too slow and melts it, or it stops at the end of the layer and melts it. There does not seem to be an option for "cool head lift". Can anyone advise? https://qnr8vw.dm2303.liv...

Re: First layer AFTER raft is printing too fast!

Can I get some details on this multi raft process please

As can bee seen on mine I have warp speed on the first part layer.

I need to slow it down without going into the gcode and doing it manualy for 2 layers

Re: First layer AFTER raft is printing too fast!

Did you get a response to this mate? I am having the same issue. I need rafts for accuracy and having the first layer shit itself is no good.
