global offset

Just a quick question. I have printed alot of PLA the last time with painters blue tape, and wanted to adjust the bed due to the thickness of the tape. Well I put in 0.4 in the global offset on the Z, and it worked fine, and today I was going to print abs and deleted the 0.4 due to print directly on...

Re: Check temp before begin build

This is what I came up with, finaly got it to work with some existing gcode online and some lines deleted and added. =) Now both bedtemp and extruder heats up before the print starts. Even got the bed to lower before extruder moves over the edge. I read a old post when I google for codes, that the M...

Re: Check temp before begin build

Open a small part - you won’t need to print it. Open the process you’d want to print it with. Go to the Script tab in the Process. In the Start script, enter a comment (they begin with a semi-colon), such as: ; It put it here In the End script, enter another comment... Prepare the Print and save it...

Re: Check temp before begin build

Ok, so M116 override that a G28 is sent to the printer before start the print?

What ever I put in to the script, the extruder and bed is G28 anyway before print =/

Re: Check temp before begin build

It looks like this: http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee5/Loka81/th_machinecontrollnoextrudertemp_zpsjiiznons.png And when bed finiching h...

Check temp before begin build

Dont know if its the software or what it is. I want both the bed and extruder to heat up before the build is started. But I cant have both bed and extruder box checked to check the temp before build, if having bed box checked also, only the bed will heat up and not the extruder. If only having the b...

Re: wont start print

So after a few hours of testing I think I got it. In the temperature-section of the FFF the temperature identifier was set to the wrong one on both extruder and bed. So when I started a print, s3d was waiting to get temperatures back from the printer to start the print, but there was no temps sended...
