Has anybody experience this? When I print directly from OSX to my TAZ 5, Simplify will be able to print out a single print. However, if I try to do another print, it won't start again. When it works, it goes through the steps: Heating bed Preparing extruder Printing... However, when it fails it jump...
There is not an "obey gravity" setting that is missing......your part obviously needs some support to ensure it prints correctly. And with the decision to include/exclude support in the hands of the user, the software does as it is told....even if the print will ultimately fail! Bridging ...
I guess the picture tells it all - this is a cavity for a nut, and all goes well until it hits the layer just above it. The sides are printed correctly in one piece as a bridge, and then it starts with the screw-hole again, but it starts in mid-air. Needless to say this doesn't work: https://www.dro...
It is very common to need to adjust the first layer to make sure it is properly positioned. I tried that but the print was unusable. On the bottom layer all the traces were spaced out by more than the trace width, and every trace lifted up around the sharp corners so that when the head comes around it dislodges the bottom layer.
