Simplify3D from OSX requires a reboot between each print

Has anybody experience this? When I print directly from OSX to my TAZ 5, Simplify will be able to print out a single print. However, if I try to do another print, it won't start again. When it works, it goes through the steps: Heating bed Preparing extruder Printing... However, when it fails it jump...

Re: Why does Simplify3D want to start a circle in mid-air?

There is not an "obey gravity" setting that is missing......your part obviously needs some support to ensure it prints correctly. And with the decision to include/exclude support in the hands of the user, the software does as it is told....even if the print will ultimately fail! Bridging ...

Why does Simplify3D want to start a circle in mid-air?

I guess the picture tells it all - this is a cavity for a nut, and all goes well until it hits the layer just above it. The sides are printed correctly in one piece as a bridge, and then it starts with the screw-hole again, but it starts in mid-air. Needless to say this doesn't work: https://www.dro...

If that's the only issue, then I would recommend reading this link, as it explains most of the suggestions for that problem: https://www.simplify3d.com/support/print-quality-troubleshooting/#print-not-sticki...

Re: Lulzbot TAZ 5 0.5mm extruder FFF?

I tried that but the print was unusable. On the bottom layer all the traces were spaced out by more than the trace width, and every trace lifted up around the sharp corners so that when the head comes around it dislodges the bottom layer. On Cura the bottom layer traces are almost solid next to each...

Lulzbot TAZ 5 0.5mm extruder FFF?

Does anybody have a 0.5mm TAZ 5 FFF that they can post? (Preferably for PLA, but ABS will do).

I tried to modify the stock 0.35mm myself, but it made such a mess that I don't know where to even start to fix it. :?
