On one of my printers, where ai need this, I use OctoPrint. I slice in SimplyFy then save the stl to OctoPrint

I have the same. My printer is a Marlin Rerap using thead rods in stead of ball screws. I am thinking to change this....I tried many configs I saw on this and other forums but my times are more than 3 times more. I am starting to think it might be hardware related. I am still in search of a solution...

also look at the thermister. I had a similar issue, the termister was slightly out of the hotend. Once I placed it properly in my hotend worked 100%

What I did notice, is that the speed of the defaults are high. When I changed them to be the same as in My other software, the printing time changed. I am not sure how they calculate this in Simplify3d.

Does anyone have tips how to calculate your particular 3d printer speeds?

Thank you everyone I just bought the software and am busy printing my first print with it. I also build my own printer, and can not wait to see how the software change my printing experience. One thing I did noticed, is that the print time / % estimate is way out. The print said it will take 43mins,...

Hi Everyone

Is there anyone here that run the Simply3d sodtware on a Rerap Marlin printer?

I want to get feedback from anyone of this before I buy the software?
