Re: Feature Request: Dynamic Extrusion Width/Gap Fill

Looks like they added that for 4.0 - but I'm not sure how to tell if it's enabled or not.

Re: Slicer behavior for thin walled sections

How has this not been implemented/fixed yet? I can't think of anything simpler than slicing a wall that is the exact same width as the "Extrusion Width"... I just fixed a model to get around this problem and... my expanded thin walls collided with each other. If simplify was doing that, i...

Re: Trouble with hollow tubes? (one end open?) (eg: cup shap

Ok, I'm bewildered, my cup works if I reset my process setting to the default profile, but switching back doesn't fail :(

Re: Trouble with hollow tubes? (one end open?)

Specifically like a cup shape. Either upside down or rightside up it tries to make a solid without a void. The normal mode renders OK, but preview mode shows it trying to be a solid. Since my other file is complicated I just whipped up a simple example with "large" walls to rule out other ...

Trouble with hollow tubes? (one end open?) (eg: cup shape)

I'm trying to print this thing: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1385312 but the preview shows it's trying to fill in the center tube of the "track.stl" I've mucked with the file a bit and tried different variations, but it still tries to fill in the middle of the object (which needs to be...

Re: Thin walls

There should be a button to say "don't disappear walls even if they're too fat". Sure that doesn't work for everything, but it does help for other things :)

Pros & Cons of Infill Types?

Lots of infill types is nice, but now I'm wondering about the pros & cons of the various types. Eg: someone recommended Hexagonal for something I wanted to print, however there're both fast and full honeycomb and I don't really know the difference :) Has anyone done studies of the different type...

Re: Complex infill managment needed for large prints!

I've done this in the model by adding a void inside the model. Of course if it needs supports that defeats the purpose.

Re: Programmed Pause

I'd love a GUI way to add a pause at various layer heights. I printed multiple color coasters that way, but it's sometimes annoying/tricky to find the right spot to pause.
