Re: Ooze shield retraction

The offset is just in the display due to the 2 heads. The part prints correctly, with the exception of the oozing problem.

Re: Ooze shield retraction

As you can see from the factory file, the retraction was set to 6.5mm and the generated gcode is doing this retraction on the part itself, but there is no retraction when printing the ooze shield and prime pillar, which defeats the entire point of the shield.

Anyone else seeing this bug?

Re: Ooze shield retraction

that is not the case. here is the G-Code it generated for the prime pillar. As you can see, there is no retraction between the pillar and the ooze shield, even though it is set for 6.5mm retraction, which I can see when it is printing the actual object. T1 ; tool H0.300 W0.400 ; prime pillar G1 X32....

Ooze shield retraction

I am trying to use the ooze shield on a dual extrusion print, but I am running into issues with retraction. I have my retraction settings working well for each extruder and I dont see any ooze when I print parts using single extrusion mode, but when I print dual extrusion parts, I get a lot of ooze ...
