Use Case: Sometimes I have to the printer location unexpectedly. I do not want to leave the printer unattended. When this happens, I would like to Pause the print job at a known layer transition so I can resume the print later. Feature: add an option to Pause a print at the beginning of the next lay...

Bookmark nozzle positions for custom start and stop points

Allow saving an entry of a nozzle position with a descriptive label while in Print Preview Mode. Add the choice to select a saved nozzle position in Process Settings-Advanced-Layer Modifications. Compensate for changed layer widths and heights.

Re: Bottom layer holes being FILLED in

Thank you for posting a solution. Simplify3D filled in the hole and created unnecessary bridging on the first layer of ro_base.stl from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1211594 , I changed the layer height from .500 to .499 and the file was sliced sanely. Found a solution, changed layer height to 0....

Re: Several objects sequentially

Joymaker, I have been struggling with these issues too. Thank you for explaining these issues so well. I hope your suggestions are implemented. I often print small objects, and I find it very useful to print several of them sequentially. But it seems that sequential printing is the neglected stepchi...

Can dual extruders split the job of a single ?

Can Simplyfy3D create pathing so that dual extruders operate simultaneously in order to complete a print job faster than a single extruder? I would load both extruders with the same type of filament. I imagine the pathing would move in bands that are as wide as the distance between extruder nozzle t...
