I don't think its a problem of not being ready. I can execute a G28 or M501 immediately before and after attempting to send the M666 and they work fine. I'll try putting it in the startup GCODE tonight but I think it would help if someone else could try the M666 command and see if they get similar r...

I've just acquired S3D and am trying to migrate over from Cura. I calibrate my printer using the M666 command. I'm able to enter other commands into the command window but for some reason when I try to enter this one it doesn't do anything. No error or anything but it never enters the command window...

You could try friction welding. Or if its a large surface area, maybe a combination of glue & friction welding.
