Re: print items one at a time

Is there not a way to do this without having a billion processes? say I want to print 20 parts, that means I must manually create 20 processes, what a headache. Can't S3D be told to treat each object separate and finish a layer of object 1, then move to 2, etc etc so simply yet I don't see a easy wa...

Linux XY Dimension Adjustment Negative Value issue

If you put in negative values into this field it causes the model to not process for printing (0minutes) or only partially process. Positive values work fine.

Manual place supports in cross-section mode?

So you can auto generate supports, but how do you manually place them while in cross section mode?

Re: Start Job when head bed within 20-30c of target

Yes that is possible except I don't always have the same bed temps, depends on material. Just thought there was some other way. Doesn't really matter too much, my printer seems to start 20c before bed is at target temp anyway. Must be something in firmware.

Start Job when head bed within 20-30c of target

Looking to optimise my print process by having the hot end start heating up when my bed is within say 30c of its target temp. ATM it waits until it hits the correct temp and its kind of wasting time. Is this something that can be done via Simplify3d or should I edit my printers marlin gcode somewhere?

Re: S3D filling in bed leveling square, why?

I was using tinkercad and I did test it at 1mm height before and same issue. S3D refused to print this object no matter what I do. I'll just make it out of rectangles instead, rather annoying since Cura is A OK with it and S3D has a fit! EDIT: Ok that solved it, seems tinkercad was causing errors in...

Re: S3D filling in bed leveling square, why?

This issue doesn't appear to happen with Cura, and I made sure I haven't got any support or additions turned on. Tried every option I could to resolve this and I'm starting to think this is a genuine fault with S3D!

S3D filling in bed leveling square, why?

I have been wanting to print this bed leveling square for a while on my LARGE format printer (Modus) but Simplify3D keeps filling in the gaps which is infuriating me! Check out the images attached.

Re: Slicer behavior for thin walled sections

Just made a model that has 0.4mm sized walls inside for basic support, and it won't print them. Probably should have stuck with 0.5mm wall for those bits, but in the end its pretty bad limit on this software, these wall structures are only there to help the print, I don't need them laser accuracy li...
