Re: Intamsys Funmat HT users

For info. I'm mainly now using poly carbonate filament (PC) with this printer now and getting quite good results. I've tweaked settings quite a lot to get good strength and still have good detail on small features. I found the biggest improvement was to run the extruder fan full time, at 50%. I tho...

Re: Printer stops/pauses on retracts

I believe I had encountered a similar issue when using wipe settings. Do you have a factory file ?

Re: Incorrect Build Statistics; Length & Weight (Retractions added)

I dont see any changes with the profile I am using. But if you have something like Extra restart distance enabled, it will be affected.
Can you attach a factory file so that I can see if there is anything different about your setup ?

Re: Extruder acting like its on vacation after the perimeter.

As you have set a Z offset, the first layer is slightly shifted under the bed (in preview). Pan the camera and you will see the first layer showing as expected. This is not a bug. The gcode is visualized as expected

Can you post a screenshot from the Machine Control Panel's Comm Log ? There is a chance that the M105 outputs are in a different format. Which firmware are you running ?

Re: Printer Profile Updates

How often does S3D update the printer profiles for each printer or do they even update them at all as new better settings are discovered. I know we can modify the stock profiles provided. Just curious if they update or enhance them with the software updates. I have seen this happen once with the Ro...

Re: Full Spectrum Laser - Pegasus Touch 3D printer

Simplify3D by default supports only FFF printers. Using SLA is a bit tedious but possible by using post processing commands to replace E with Laser on or OFF

Re: TPU Supports

well, I printed my iphone case with supports and they came off pretty well. But again, the surface above supports may not look as neat as PLA or ABS.. But support removal was not an issue for me

Do you have any pictures ?

Re: Material settings export

I have used a similar TPU filament on a direct drive machine, similar to the Creator Pro. I started with the standard PLA profile and made the following changes Retraction distance: 0.5mm Coasting ON : 0.5mm Wipe ON : 5mm Retraction Speed: 600 mm/min Default printing Speed: 1500mm/min . slow down fo...
