Re: Cannot Auto Arrange on Mac OSX

If you search around, this appears to be a longstanding intermittent issue with OSX & Simplify3D (only happens to a few people - I have a Macbook that it works fine on). The usual advice is to drag the STL into the graphics window and load it that way. Thanks for the tip dorsai. This appears to...

Re: Cannot Auto Arrange on Mac OSX

Yeah I just stared having this issue as well. I never had this problem prior to the update. Another major issue that I began encounter with the update is that when more than two models are placed on the build plate, only two of them are visible at a time. The only way to make another one visible is ...

Re: Update?

As has been said many times, this is a user forum. If you want to ask their developers about the next update, you need to email them directly: https://www.simplify3d.com/contact-us/ I've exchanged many emails with their employees and it's definitely clear that they are busy working on future update...

Issue with Ooze Shield?

So I have noticed a behavior with the ooze shield that appears to be problematic in some of my larger prints where my second nozzle crosses over the print. here is a breakdown of the problem on any given layer: T0 layers on the ooze shield, then it begins printing it's layer. At the end of the layer...

Re: Update?

Guys, you're never going to get a software developer to give you an estimate of when the next big update is coming - it's likely they don't know themselves. And you're not going to get them to spill the beans about new features before the release, because it can only hurt current sales and tip off ...

Re: Print Problem: Vertical banding/Z axis waves.

Just a quick update for anyone following along that may also have vertical banding or waves. I contacted flashforge support about the issue after trying numerous solutions and although I had to do some general troubleshooting for them (run some sample prints, different materials, etc...) to verify m...

Re: Print Problem: Vertical banding/Z axis waves.

i have seen this issue many times before. most of the time its a hardware issue but there can be other causes like inconsistent filament dia. filament dia can be getting bigger and smaller at regular intervals. off the top of my head i cant think of any software settings that would cause this. Ok y...

Ok thank you. It's seeming to me like it is most likely a hardware problem then, agreed?

Re: Print Problem: Vertical banding/Z axis waves.

A note about the problem. I just did a perfectly square print right now aligned with the x and y axes and I have the same issue. It appears to be a problem related to the z axis. Just not sure what it is.
