Re: Is it possible to have vertical walls of 3 straight line

Depending on the part, you can use the "merge all outlines into a single solid model" on the Advanced tab, and then set the number of perimeter outlines to 3. I use this quite frequently to print things like a hollow cylinder with exactly 3 vertical shells. Thanks for the tip! I'll add th...

Is it possible to have vertical walls of 3 straight lines?

I cannot find a reliable way to make S3D print vertical walls that are 3x the extrusion width, with 3 straight lines. If the wall is 2x that width, I get 2 straight lines building the wall. It's great but too skinny. If the wall is 4x that width I get 4 straight lines. It's great but too thick. 3 st...

Re: Quality issue not solved

David, I was having blobs that looked exactly like the ones in your pictures a few days ago. Then I read the link posted by CompoundCarl, and I tried something I found there: Enabling the FFF Settings -> Advanced -> Perform Retraction During Wipe Movement. (Wipe Nozzle must also be enabled for this ...

Re: Any way to specify a printing order when multiple object

If you have one process per item on the plate, then the processes will be printed in top to bottom order from the process list. Thanks for the quick response. This sounds promising... maybe there is a way! I have 1 process for the priming disc item, but 5 processes for the 'real' item. Is that goin...

Any way to specify a printing order when multiple objects..

Is there any way to specify a printing order when multiple objects are getting printed all at once? I have some discs that get printed in the air at pause layers. Their intention is to even out the flow of material through the nozzle after a pause. So I need these discs to be printed first on each l...

Re: Programmed Pause

What's an SF bot?

The lack of a simple pause-planning GUI interface in S3D is the reason I don't use S3D much, It would be nice if S3D would add this function

Re: G-Code Editor & Pause Command

I recently purchased Simplify3D because of all the hype. It is very capable, easy to use and extremely customizable. However, I have read several threads where people would refer people to use cura to insert a pause using the "Pause at layer" plugin. What is so hard about adding this into...
