Re: Export model and supports

Thanks, but that is exactly why I would prefer to use the Bambu software for the actual print, since I never have to adjust anything. The inbuilt algorithms and AI ensure a perfect print every time, and I lose a lot of that ease of use with S3D. I still have 6 other printers I use S3D for, so I'd ju...

Re: Export model and supports

Hi Jason Yes, I have tried outputting the gcode, copying it to an SD card and printing. I got awful results. It defaulted to 220c and 60c for the hotbed, even though the cold plate default is 35c. And despite seeing the gcode for filament calibration, the flow was terrible. I had to cancel it on the...

Export model and supports

S3D has a pretty useful feature which allows you to place manual supports prior to support generation. This can be really useful when combined with rotating the model, placing supports, then rotating it to another angle. This can then allow you to build supports from another part of the model, rathe...

Re: FF Dreamer out of print range error

I've eliminated the 3rd party app by connecting my laptop directly to the printer and printing over USB. The communications always just hangs part way through printing and you need to disconnect and reconnect to re-establish comms. When are Simplify3D finally going to update this app to support the ...

Re: FF Dreamer out of print range error

I'm a little confused by this. I get the problem printing any model, even a tiny one. Shouldn't this just work as per the article here? https://www.simplify3d.com/support/hardware-setup-guides/flashforge-dreamer/ Also, I've tried printing via Wifi using VirtualHere to remote the USB port of the Drea...

FF Dreamer out of print range error

I am trying to export the gcode from Simplify 3D and then print over Wifi using FlashPrint which is mentioned as supported on the official instructions for the software. However, no matter what model I try and print, FlashPrint always refuses and shows the following error: 'The 'gcode' model is out ...

FlashForge Network Printing

I would love to see Simplify3D support the IP based printing and monitoring provided by the FlashForge Dreamer.

I have the printer up in my attic and it would be far more convenient to be able to monitor the print remotely, while only visiting it every now and again.
