Improved rectilinear exterior fill on low-infill items

When using rectilinear exterior fill with a relatively sparse infill, on a shallow upwards curve, this can leave a lot of the exterior fill not just suspended in air, but it goes out and turns around mid air. What color of FF ABS? I have a few rolls from them, and their black filament is... less than ideal. Stiff, brittle, poor fusion to itself compared to other brands and other colors from FF. I always suggest people get settings dialed in with anything but black or white filament, then tweak the settin...

That makes sense. It's not easy to do bridging with concentric fill ;) If you want bridging, you need to use rectilinear fill Well this solved my question. The bridging test I was working on had bridges so narrow that the perimeter shells took up the whole width and there was no infill. I didnt not...
