You guys need to make a CNC/tool path version!!!

I've been a user of S3d for a long time but now I'm getting into the cnc and milling scene and there's not alot of decent software out there that's good. There's junk ($100 to $500 range) and then good to awesome stuff that $600 to $$$$$$$$$$$ + Not to mention the learning curves on these things! :r...

Re: FFCP Banding Around Wall Holes and Other Detail

Here's some of my posts.... and please take time to read thoroughly through some of them. There's some great info in there! It took me many months to figure this out!! One thing to note!! The FFCP can be made or shipped with the gantry out of square or like a parallelogram (aka not square to the fra...

Re: FFCP Banding Around Wall Holes and Other Detail

I have a FFCP (same year/make) and I have LOTS of post on this forum regarding the same thing or very similar. I came from the old "woody" FF and another self built printer and had no issues but when I bought my FFCP I had nothing but banding and weird lines and other issues! :o I posted her...

Re: new ver 3.1 still holds on the old job or STL/factory fi

I even exit out and restart, load up an entirely new factory file from the past... click "Prepare to Print" ... it shows the CURRENT factory file.... then I start to print... it prints the OLD file that was last printed from the old ve...

new ver 3.1 still holds on the old job or STL/factory file ?

The very last thing I printed on the pervious ver was this.... http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1200876/#files Then I upgraded.... Now no matter what I try to print, do, reset, blah, blah, blah... it still ALWAYS prints out that top holder unit! No matter what I've tried! Sure it shows my current pa...

Re: Bridges not generated

Hey Doug! I wish I could rate posts because I've been trying to print one of my parts from SolidWorks for the last day or 2 and trying to figure out WTF is going on with the super small gap or area between my regions on my part. Driving me nuts until I just read your post! Tried it and now the slice...

Re: Print quality on thin pillars

Hi there,

What type of material and what are your current settings? Also which printer would help as well. ;)

Re: Wavy Patterns

you have severe z wobble. Yeah, I agree... a month or 2 ago... when I was having the same issue I posted this on the Flashforge forum.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JBddNvBKEk ... Then a nice user said "HEY! you have a bent Z shaft and I have a spare" so he sent it to me to test.... 8-) This wa...

Re: Wavy Patterns

Let me start off by saying welcome! I don't know if your printer is a clone of the Creator Pro? Does it have the SailFish FW? If so, you might need to do some calibrating and do a 20x20x10 cube. Looks like Z waves to me which was my problem... https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5059 I ...

Re: ABS parts have ripples in lower layers, smooth out at to

I've been printing ABS for a LOOOONG time, and I'll let you know some tricks that has helped me and my journeys... I have both the original Creator (wooden) and the CreatorPro.. 1. ABS loves to warp, print on glass and keep it HOT! (110*).. don't use that junk blue vinyl stuff that came with the FFC...
