Re: V 4.1 Still with bad print time prediction

No one is going to be able to help if you just post a random time. If you want to give them more actual data that they can use, you probably need to include at a minimum: What printer you are using The time estimate from V4.1.0 The actual print time ATTACH THE GCODE FILE Just posting that X print to...

Re: Error:Save ToolPaths to Disk

Can you attach your factory file? It might have something to do with your post-processing script judging by the error.

I've already exported and printed several parts from V4.1, so there must be something different in your settings/scripts that causing it..

Re: How can I configure the new Collision Detection?

The feature added in Version 4.1 will automatically adjust the printing mode to avoid collisions between your parts. This happens automatically, so there are no additional settings you need to adjust to enable the behavior. As you noted, this allows you to easily transition back and forth between s...

Re: Information on new 4.1 features?

I was however interested in the 'Customized Part Additions' but cannot figure out how this should be done, i see no difference when importing a model etc. You just import 2 models, and then create a separate process for each model. Then you can define different additions (rafts, skirts, etc) for ea...

Re: V 4.1 Retraction at layer change and outline crossing

I was using this feature most of yesterday and it was working fine in V4.1. I'm also looking at a preview right now for my next print and the feature is clearly working.

So it's possible it's something related to that specific part. Can you attach the factory file?

Re: 4.1 No space between dense supports and layer above

I'm not seeing this either. 4.1 seems to have correct separation on my end.

How many upper separation layers did you have in your support settings? Can you post the factory file?

Re: Ooze-Shield bug still there

You can already add a brim to the prime pillar. Just enable the skirt and the prime pillar and it happens automatically.

Re: V 4.1 Still with bad print time prediction

I think it would help if you also attached the gcode files that you printed for those 2 test cases. That would help when comparing between versions.

What did 4.0.1 estimate?

Re: Support for Prusa i3Mk2 with Multi Material Upgrade

I emailed the S3D team about this awhile ago and they sent me a profile for the MMU that has been working quite well actually. It's different than the prusa software (obviously), since it does things the S3D way. For example, it uses the ooze shield more for controlling ooze and color leaking betwee...
