Re: Simplify3D - Amazing with FlashForge Creator Pro!

I bought s3d for my creator pro 2015 and never regretted it. However, it does require a lot of tinkering to get the best out of it. It depends how much detail you want.

Re: How To Avoid Extruder Travel over Internal Area Of Print

You can use nozzle lift but the question should also be why it is happening. Over extrusion can often cause scarring as the extruded plastic fans out in all directions making it thicker than the layer height expected by the slicer. This can be an accumalative effect.

Re: FlashForge Guider II - help printing miniatures

I have just printed a miniature on a creator pro at 0.08mm layer on a 0.4mm nozzle. Not bad but the print time is huge.

Re: Printing With Polyalchemy Elixire problems

This almost certainly going to be either an over extrusion or z height issue. More likely over extrusion, trying tweaking your extrusion multiplier. Have a read here: https://www.simplify3d.com/support/print-quality-troubleshooting/#scars-on-top-surface Unless the scar is going up your print on the ...

Re: Printing With Polyalchemy Elixire problems

So you are getting a line across your model where the red line shows, is that the problem? This is probably caused by the print head moving through over extruded plastic often causing scaring. If you are saying the problem is blobs or zits on the outside walls this could be a retraction issue. Witho...

Re: Beginning of outside perimeter issues

Thanks for your reply, I am using an FF Creator Pro with Sailfish7.7 and not too sure how to find the jerk setting? interestingly however, i changed the print underspeed from about 10mm/s to about 30mm/s and the print actually looks better at the higher speed using S3D v3.1.1, if i slow it down agai...

Beginning of outside perimeter issues

Hi Everyone, Please have a look at the attachment. I have upgraded to v4 and all of a sudden I am getting these lines on my prints. Before this printed smooth. These are happening it would seem as the extruder is over extruding on the outer perimeter at the start. The extruder is going left to right...

[SOLVED] Strange issues with FF Creator Pro toolhead jogging

Hi All, I am suffering some strange issue with the Machine Control Panel. I am using a FF Creator Pro 2015. If I select tool head 0 then everything works as expected. If i select tool head 1, things go weird when on manual control: X, Y, Z does not move in the selected size step, they move a large s...

Wobbly Edge

Hi All, I seem to be suffering from a wobbly edge on all my square based prints, its only ever on the left hand corner of every straight and starts from about 5mm before the corner. I have tried my best to take a picture of it: DSC_0344_02.JPG Watching it print you can see it print the wobbly bit bu...
