I have noticed 2 problems that are bugging me. - The first one was the delta build volume as discussed in this thread https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=1807&sid=18ec754c6b09e7db590c5391e1575175 it seems it has been this way since v2.22 Basically I have to tell it the machine is a cert...
I am having some big issues with support towers not appearing in the Gcode, the software only puts in the skirts, nall hand placed supports do not appear, is there a do not ignore hand placed support box i need to check?
Unfortunately I have extremely different machines with important firmware, scripts, workspace and fff settings. switching between the 2 is a pain so I have created a new windows profile. I now no longer get the fff profiles mixed up and can switch between the 2 quickly. It would be nice to have simp...
Bump, I have looked at the Gcode. Although you can change these settings under Extruder, Coast at end and retraction/restart distance it does not change where the M101 and M103 are placed. This causes major issues for me also as I am operating a valve which controls the flow of plastic. I am sure th...
I am wondering if there is any interest in an ABS recycling watermark feature. Most of the prints that are done are not recyclable as there are no markings on the product. Some of our objects can be up to 1500mm tall and we are looking at getting a chipper however I think this could be a neat feature.
I have been printing cone shaped objects with a spiral vase setting. I would really like the skirt to be internal. Also then it would be hidden. I have made my own in the models. S3d seems to have a hard time with less dense models and creates an incorrect number of skirts. This generally means the ...
Yes I did a bone which was split in half. (Femur) I can get some pictures but basically I ended up using infill on the base as there were only a few sections with +45deg overhangs. For the last half of the bone I did another exact slice without infill and edited the gcode manually. it then worked up...
Would be great to have it as an automatic feature.
If I then want to apply this to a solid model it will do both the outside and inside perimeter. I have tried messing with extrusion width but then I just get holes.
Is there a way that simplify could print internal support just like it does on external overhangs.
This way I could use less infill and when it detects an internal overhang of 45 degrees it would make the appropriate support. This would speed up printing and reduce the amount of material I am using.
