Re: update to v4.0

Hi, for me it is not OK - since it is a lot of manual work necessary to generate smooth transitions. Other slicers can do this for a longer time already. From a major update to V4.0 I expected a 'killer' feature like this. For me the update to V4.0 offers only minor improvements - no real killer fea...

Re: Please add brim for support

@dkightley: I don't know why it is a problem for S3D to keep the user better informed what features they are working on - there are good tools available to track those things and keep the user informed! I am constantly singing (thanks to Sidney Youngblood): All we can do is sit and wait - all we can...

Re: Please add brim for support

Hi guys, I really appreciate your lots of +1 and the great support and feedback. But there is (again and again) no reaction from S3D team - I really wonder if they are working on an update and inlclude this feature. Why there is no statement from S3D team at all? Neither on this thread nor on a gene...

Re: Is S3D still actually being developed?

Hi guys,

I have to post in this thread again. How long we have now the version 3.1.1?!?

So here again the question: Is S3D still actually being developed?

Re: Perimeters do not touch

Hi brian442,

thanks again. What do you meant by editing the firmware config?
Is this someting I have to do inside S3D? If yes where please?

And what is 'jerk' please?

BTW: My printer is an Ultimaker 2 - so I used the default profile from S3D - are you sure I have to tweak something there?

Re: Perimeters do not touch

@brian442, thanks, that is a good thought. I checked my settings but could not find any wierd speed / acceleration setting as you can see here: http://i.imgur.com/bFX1TTq.jpg You can also see that inner paths of the periemter are printed at higher speeds compared to the outer ones. As you can see my...

Perimeters do not touch

Hi, I have a problem with non touching perimeters. I have an object with 4 perimeter shells. I print from outside to inside. During printing I can see that only the 1st and 2nd outer perimeters touch well. The 3rd and 4th have a gap. What I can observe is that the outer most shell is printed slowly ...
