All processes selected by default.

The old V4 behavior was to use the same selected processes when the print dialog is shown. That's how it's currently working in 5.0.1 as well. If you want to suggest selecting a subset of the selected processes by default, I would suggest making a new feature request since that's a different behavi...

Re: [FIXED] All processes selected by default

Version 5.0.1 was just released this week with updated behavior so that only the selected processes are used by default. This should match the old V4 behavior that was requested in this thread. You can read about all the other changes at the link below: https://www.simplify3d.com/products/simplify3...

[FIXED] Cannot assign Del button for shortcut

V4 had the "Del" button assigned to delete models and processes. Now the backspace button is assigned. But the Del button cannot be assigned instead to keep it the way it was.

Re: All processes selected by default

Funny enough, we actually had a lot of users complain in the past that they always had to press "Select All" every time they were slicing a part with multiple process (dual extrusion, variable settings wizard, etc). It sounds like most of the people in this thread are storing their printe...

Re: All processes selected by default

I saw your screenshot. Can you let us know what all the different processes in that list represent? Are they different settings you are trying to save, or do they correspond with actual parts on the print bed? The other processes are for different variations of how we may print the part. We typical...

Re: Simplify3D V5 no longer useable for RC airplane prints

Not sure if this would fix your problem, but are your "Single Extrusions" settings in the Advanced tab set properly? If the walls are thinner than your minimum extrusion distance, S3D will ignore it. Also if there's errors in your mesh, you could upload to TinkerCAD then redownload. Tinker...

Re: V5 firware retraction?

Use the post-processing script for this. Pretty sure it's always been this way. See attached image for how we do it in our lab

[FIXED] All processes selected by default

See attached image for screenshots. When one process is selected in the process list, in the next pop-up window, by default ALL of the processes are selected. This is a big change since V4 and will definitely lead to mistakes in our workflow. Please fix it/revert it back to the way V4 worked. S3D bu...

Re: Is there a way to get processes back when changing printers?

I also use about 10 different printers. The printer profiles are a joke. I can't imagine anyone using this efficiently unless you have only two printers and they're just two different versions of iPrusa or something. The way I organize my profiles is save a factory file for each printer, and when I ...
