hmmm, last time around it was about a year from V3 to V4, then it took a week to get the V4.01 to fix all the bugs in V4.00, then a month to get V4.10 to fix the crippling bugs introduced in v4.01..... Hmmm, so since it took them nearly 7 years to go from V4 to V5, it follows we should get our bugfi...

Ok, in 2016 when V4.00 came out, they released V4.01 in 3 days to fix all the bugs in the release. Then Released 4.05 a few days after that to fix all the bugs they thought they fixed in 4.01.... This kept going until 4.12 when they stopped working on V4 entirely. Now history repeats itself....again...

We have quite a few different Qidi machines in our office which are all still connecting fine with V5. Would you mind posting your firmware version? Are you already using the latest firmware? Not sure why our machines would connect find, but some others are giving an error saying a device is alread...

Getting same thing on 3 Different QIDI's. X-Smart, X-Maker & X-PRO. Confirm I do not have QIDI print installed/running, The IP address it says is already connected is the PC I am running V5 on. Apparently this is merely a bug.

Can you be more specific? Are you asking if there will be a software update at all or are you asking for an update on the progress towards said software update? Had the same issue, but with a DaVinci PRO printer. My answer to fix the issue was to remove the SD card from the back board and replace it with an 8gig SanDisk SD card. Seems the cheap ADATA card they used was the culprit, as it would randomly fail during uploads to the machine.

All DaVinci machines require you use the printer calibration system. There is no means of calibrating through external software.
