So that hints that a higher percentage does indeed increase strength. I've been using 100% infill and 200% infill width for a clip.

Learned a valuable lesson recently...when you think your bed is level and right....you're wrong. The only way to be sure is a calibration object. For instance today I thought I had the level correct. So I printed a single layer 20mm cube. My first layer was set at .2mm ...I got .38. The only reason ...

Pushing the boundaries of the software and doing something outside of what the program is intended to do are 2 entirely different things. Make the walls .3 mm thick and see if it prints. I would be neither confused nor bewildered that this print didn't work...

I had already bounced back to SliC3r because I was needing to print some stuff. I had switched to PETG and the filament wasn't looking right on the bed...so I bumped the temperature of the nozzle up to 258, solved the problem there. The frustrating part is, in both of those photos the nozzle height,...

First layer blues

I'm having an issue with the first layer in Simplify3D. Here is a photo. The top photo is from using Slic3r. Bottom is from Simplify3D. As you can see the top layer is laid down nice and the edges and infill bonded. The Simplify3D first layer isn't bonded and as you can see the outer perimeter comes...
