I have an OpenSCAD STL design that is composed of two halves. I would like to have them separate so I can place filament change code in the top half. I do not see any way of doing this in S3D. Any other ideas?

I did. This is the way the printer is represented graphically using that profile. Unfortunately, it doesn't match the actual prints and I have to remember to shift the print left about 25 mm to center it.

I just reformatted my macbook pro and installed S3D fresh. It is losing FFF files that I've imported and it never did that in the past install or on my iMac. Vase mode seems to want to print a top layer for my beginner vase made in Rhino. The top normally is left open and I am not sure why this is happening.
