The key question still remains: Why isn't the named profile in the Configurator? It may take even several days until Simplify3D will answer the e-mail. Who benefits, if everyone needs to bother to Simplify with e-mail requests? -No-one.

You're right, that's a malfunction of the software: The tower makes no sense after the last tool change.

You can get around it by Variable Settings (splitting) i.e. creating a secondary project without the tower, but surely that should be in the software.

I also have similar issues. Coasting was on by default, which gave me this kind of seam... (see pictures)
The wall is 2mm, nozzle is 0,8 mm. Later I disabled coasting, the result got much better but not good, not at all (sorry no picture available right now).
