Thanks for the info. I did end up going with a 0mm offset brim. That cut my build time down by an hour. Only issue was that all the support structures were directly touching the platform, upon which some of them started lifting mid print.

There actually is a brim on that build. It's the outer ring that's two layers. I'm not sure how you get anything to stick to a brim since the brim is supposed to be on the outside of the part.

The part below is a big ring shape and Simplify3D keeps making the raft an entire filled-in circle. It's a waste of time and material when the raft can be a ring shape touching the model only. In regards to that ridge, do you have an image of the 3D model we can see?

The mark on the bottom of the bowl is the extruder nozzle moving to close to that layer and melting the plastic. You can't do anything about that unless you somehow change the toolpath of the extruder.
