If it helps, just wanted to add myself as another that was able to solve the problem with unchecking the box in the firmware / communication settings as stated above.

For things I design myself Leeway, this is always possible. But the large amount of the paid work I do involves fabricating and finishing pieces that I had no hand in designing, so I'm simply importing the STL.

Any chance this can start to be integrated and tested into the program now that V4 is out of the way? I'm a year plus of using this program and still having to mindlessly click away 90% of my support structures!

That was it, repaired online and it slices correctly now. Thank you! A mesh in need of repair was the absolute last thing on my radar. C'mon devs, it's really easy to turn this company around, instead of staying silent to the criticism. Just start engaging us and working on some features, instead of new printer support profiles and language translations. We know you're reading this stuff...

I just asked this a couple weeks ago. Surprisingly we got a rare dev response on it, but who knows when it'll be implemented. I'm frustrated by this lack of feature every day now...
