Re: Feature request: disable extruder heating when not needed

I was forwarded from this topic: https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=14471&p=54417&hilit=Krosstoph#p54417 Unfortunately the post was closed but I think not understood correctly. I want to have the exact opposite of what is the topic here. Because of that, I will copy the text from the ...

Heat up Extruder in advance - Tool change

Hello, I have a dual extruder printer. I always reduce temp of inactive extruder to avoid burning/ooze. Printing is really slow due to extruder heating AFTER each layer before tool change. In Raise3D slicer I have the option to define a preheat time. So I can set a time in seconds before the tool ch...

I would really like to see that feature too. Also to be able to make the skirt for the hole support height, so the support structures have a closed surface around them.

Re: Wrong slice in cylinder

I also mainly use Fusion360 at home (Inventor at work) now, before I used PTC Software (Wildfire and the free Creo). You really don't have to bother much, since the low, mid and high settings are pretty much all you need. For simple mechanical parts low will do. I did not have any part so far where ...

Re: Start points (again)

Thanks for your answer. That's too bad, because I have many mechanical parts where I would prefer the weld points on the flat sides instead of in the corners to optimize stability. The weld points are essentially starting points for crack growth. An if the applied force is in direction of the corner...

What I want is the start point to be in the middle of the Cuboid:

Re: Start points (again)

Thank you for your answers. I just tried again with a simple cuboid having the following coordinates for start point (x = 200 is the mid of the cuboid) : 1st try: x = 200 (mid of cuboid), y = -9999 --> Start points in right corner, viewing from x-axis 2nd try: x = 200 (mid of cuboid), y = 0 --> Star...

Start points (again)

Hello, although i read all the topics about start points and tried the different approaches, it just does not work for me. Whatever specific point I define, the start point always is either in the left corner or the right corner, but i want it in the middel of a rectangular part. And maybe that is j...
