Re: Paid upgrade For 2020 upcoming Version 5.0

Almost 3 months after the end of 2019 when version 5 should had been out and still not even a single screenshot or bit of information. Well it's time i say good bye because this slicer don't seem to be going anywhere anymore and i have already started to move my workflow to other slicers. It's a sha...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2020 upcoming Version 5.0

Months later and can still not show anything they have been working on to show a paying community that they are in fact "working" on something and that is the main problem, if they still don't have anything to show now then it not looking good. It's a real shame as like many who are unhappy have sai...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2020 upcoming Version 5.0

I don't think it is nice to talk about other software here even though you are disappointed about Simplify3D, that may be one of the reasons they modify the posts here - it's still their forum. Also negative talk that updates will never happen isn't helping anybody and not based on facts. That bein...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2020 upcoming Version 5.0

And you think by removing posts that tell you home truths about how bad the company is run is going to help? Anyway I really want to say that Simplify3D is a truly great piece of software ! We are not complaining about the software itself, but about missed promises and the lack of transparency abou...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

I have been keeping an eye on this thread and i feel a few things should be said to bridge the gap between the community and simplify3D. How much is this "small" update fee likely to be? you don't need to give a 100% right price but you could give a ball park range you plan for it to be within, what...

Re: Cannot remove internal supports when you have open the cross section view.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. We were able to test and verify this in our office. I have documented this issue and made the development team aware of it. Thanks again to everybody for being so diligent and fast with these reports! Any news on this being fixed yet? this bug is a ...

Re: Cannot remove internal supports when you have open the cross section view.

Any way we could download a past version? this bug is stopping me from being able to paid work in a timely matter because adding to add support by hand one by one to just where i want/need support is a pain now.

Re: Questions about support and other features

Angle of the infill can be edited under the support tab via: support infill angles, this also lets you make your own patterns if you enter more than one angle in.

Far i know you can only edit the support density via layer heights using the process's system.

Re: Dissolvable Supports Help

Make sure you have dense support layers on for PVA support with 100% dense infill, this will give you a flat roof to your supports, normal support setting go with like 50% to start with. Also you want 0 gap between the top of the PVA and bottom of the PLA, dissolvable support is designed to act like...
