Yeah, I'm moving to a new printer and switching to Klipper. Might as well try the other slicers. No update in 3 years?!?! I really like S3D but other slicers have some new features I'd like, like surface ironing. I've been waiting a long time for a v5.

It worked! There is basically two things I did. I reduced the speed down to 25-30% for the first 2mm, and as you guys suggested reduced the build plate temperature. Build plate is 110 for first layer, 100 for next 1mm, then 95 for the rest. I had reduced speed to 25% first and still kept build plate...

Thanks gwhite. It wasnt "extra restart distance", but was the "Coasting distance" set to 1.5mm. Now it previews perfectly. Obviously this needs to be tuned in practice. I figured there was an option controlling it, there are soo many options in Simplify3D....how do we honestly tu...

Before I even print, the slicer is putting holes in the print. I can see them in the gcode preview. I have red marked a few in the attached image but as you can see the preview is chock full of them.
