Re: seam printing with clear colorfabb xt

suggestion on how to tune this a bit so i can get the seam cleaned up without sacrificing the other areas? Vase mode won't work for the end product which is a small container. on a side note it does print nicely in vase mode, the issue is stopping and layer changing. thanks! https://forum.simplify3d...

seam printing with clear colorfabb xt

Hi there. I've been trying to print a cylinder with colorfabb xt petg. Initial prints were pretty rough. I was able to get the quality better, however I had to use an extra restart distance of -.35 and a coast of .10. Using wipe just spread the issue all over. this is causing what I suspect is under...

Re: Why do not I can do a better setting

I'm not sure if there is a way to transfer, I doubt it though. I did read the extrusion multiplier is reversed in some programs, so even if you manually move everything over one program might read the value differently than another resulting in print quality differences.

Re: print items one at a time

I have never tried it, the option appears when you click "prepare to print" after configuring your print - the dialog which appears has a radio button for selecting sequential printing.

dual extrusion with different material

I'm trying to print with PLA on the left head and PolyFlex on the right. I have profile for each which is working well. After some tries with the wizard I went manual, but the results aren't as good for the PolyFlex as they are standalone. its like the retraction and extrusion multiplier aren't work...

Re: what the heck happened, left printer head behaves differ

I just did an eprom erase and that fixed it. Thinking I screwed things up running the dual extruder alignment script. Now to figure out how to align the two extruders in FW (off just a hair)
