I have Sailfish 7.7 on my printer and it sees the x3g files just fine. Are you sure you are copying the correct file onto the SD card? Is is possible there is a problem with the SD card or the card reader? Make backups but try copying the old gpx.ini from the old S3D folder into the new v4 folder,
