Re: Better Profile management PLEASE?

+1

Please, go look at the profile management system for Slic3r! It has everything people are asking for and is a good starting point.

Re: Materials Manager

Now that 4.1 is here and there are no changes to the material profile system, I would like to bring this back into picture: Look at Slic3r's profile system, it has everything needed to properly manage materials, and there is no reason to not have that wonderful ability in Simplify3D. Please, please,...

Re: November Development update?

Given the last comments, I was expecting to not need another development update, because it would be a release update.

Guess, I had too much faith.

Beta Test Feature

To improve the quality of testing for each update, I'm surprised you don't offer a beta test program. This would allow users like me, who hate waiting for updates to improve the testing quality of your program. Just an idea, many software companies release betas to their community, and this communit...

Re: Materials Manager

You can already change the settings from mm/min to mm/s. You can find that under the following menu, Tools > Options > Preferences > Speed Display Units. I would also like better material profile settings, with maybe a settings manager? with this we should be able to choose which settings are tied t...

Re: Active Development?

And there is a version 4.1 coming shortly. It has been promised that information about this new version will be posted this week, so probably today I guess (unless they work during the weeked). I see you still have high expectations, a better guess at this point would be, hopefully we'll get someth...

Re: S3D Development Update - Aug 2018

A beta branch or something. Yeah, It's actually pretty frustrating once you realize they have a huge user base that could give them real, useful feedback on their releases reducing the need for as many in house testers (if they have any) and could speed up the development cycle. There really is no ...

Re: Network Printing - Qidi X-Pro

Network printing for the DuetWifi and other duet boards would be welcomed by many, probably thousands of users. IT would be awesome if we could send the gcode files over the network without having to pull up a browser.

Re: S3D Development Update - Aug 2018

major foundational changes that we are working on for the product. We are working on some VERY ambitious plans for the software, so a lot of our work is going towards these major features that will be coming in the future. Although developing these big features requires time, it is going to allow u...

Request: Settable extrusion width and extrusion multiplier for layers above support material

I feel like this should be something obvious, as the ease of support removal is relative to the difference between the nozzle width and extrusion width. If you have a .4mm nozzle but are running a .48 or higher extrusion width, you are in for a bad time removing support. It would be nice if I could ...
