Thank you for the reply. What was shown in the part preview is not what showed up in the g code preview. After hitting prepare to print, the supports ran out to the end of the overhang. But that setting is nice to know in case I have this problem again.

Support not fully covering overhangs
I am having trouble with supports not fully covering an overhang. I have tried overhang angle settings down to 40 degrees and resolution down to 1.0 and still get the gap at the end of this overhang. It is mirrored on both sides of the part. Any ideas of a setting that could be changed to fix that? ...
