Hi - I've tried slicing this model every which way I can and can't get s3d to do it without little gaps in the perimeter. Cura has no issue with the model. You don't need to change E steps/mm in S3D, only in the firmware. So again, nozzle diameter is the only thing I can think of in S3D to change. All other changes should be in the firmware. The only thing I can think of in S3D would be changing the nozzle diameter if your extruder has a new nozzle size. Otherwise, everything else should be setup in the firmware. I'm pretty sure you have to at least change the esteps because the guide on the Lulzbot website mentions it specifically and...

Hi,

Just wondering what if I have to change anything other than the esteps in the firmware when switching between different extruders on the Taz 6?

i.e. what is the procedure in S3d for changing extruder heads in general?
