Re: Slicer behavior for thin walled sections

If I design a part to be made on a particular type of machine then I have to keep that machines limitations in mind. It does not matter if the machine is a CNC mill, or a 3D printer. For example the minimum kerf of a plasma cutter, laser cutter and water jet are all different. So if I am designing a...

Re: Factory file vs process exporting?

Once I have the settings correct for a particular part I do not re-slice it just to print another copy. I just use the saved .gcode file. If you are worried about the particular settings for a particular part, i.e. the differences between the standard profile and the tweaks you made for a particular...

Re: Multi part FFF features / options to increase productivi

-Would be nice to edit multiple FFF processes at the same time. Ability to highlight selected FFF processes, and edit. Very time consuming to edit each one individually. (If different process have different settings, just leave the fields blank to let the user know, this is how other software handl...

Re: Factory file vs process exporting?

You CAN export a profile to a file, you can also save every project to a factory file. There is nothing you cannot save to a file.

Re: No Support generated !

I was trying to work with that file and it seems your STL has errors. Trying to fix them in S3D really messed things up. Perhaps others will have more luck.

Re: Edit supports?

It might help if you explain what you are trying to do and attach your factory file.

Re: Factory file vs process exporting?

So the simple way to sync two machines is to store a factory file from one and load it to the second machine? It's a shame there is not a more transparent/background way to do this but I can live with this way. Something like a external shared file with process settings but I guess that is not all ...
