Re: Extr.2 isn't working properly. g-code is different to Ex

The support of S3D send me a new FFF-Profile.

Re: Filament Data not saved in Filament settings

Yes, I did.
I checked it now with both installations, only S3D 4 work's with that.
S3D 3.1.1 did not save the Filament-Data.

Extr.2 isn't working properly. g-code is different to Extr.1

With the new Version 4.0 I can't use the second Extruder. Printing with Extruder 2 is extremely slow. The g-code of Extr.2 are different to Extr.1 For example g-code of S3D 4.0: Extr.1 : G1 X129.684 Y115.610 E0.0041 F2520 Extr.2 : G1 X129.684 Y115.610 Einf F2520 S3D 3.1.1: Extr.1 : G1 X129.684 Y115....

Re: Filament Data not saved in Filament settings

Did you switch to the new profile in FFF Settings?
Maybe you still use your old settings.
If you re-import the settings it will add a new profile and add a (2) to the name.

Re: Filament Data not saved in Filament settings

It seem's to be a feature... I have had the same problem as well. But there is a solution to fix that problem. (Not nice, but it work's for me) 1. in S3D in the File Menu Export FFF profile 2. Edit the xml-file you just generated Append in every "<autoConfigureMaterial name=" your ...

Re: Feature Request: Dynamic Extrusion Width/Gap Fill

It's enabled! I'was trying to print a grid inside a circle. With 4.0 I stopped the print right after it starts. Because at the crossing section of the grid and the circle are lots of mini gaps and SD3 was trying to fill this mini gaps. Drip by drip. Very slow! I mean, SLOW! You can't even see any ac...

Re: Material Catalogs

OK. You are right. I was a little confused about my settings in slic3r. I mismatched some things. You must know, i just switched to S3D and it's a little different. Sorry for the trouble. I need some more experience with S3D, I guess. 8-) But, I wonder. The setting about the filament properti...

Re: Material Catalogs

Really?
I pay 150 bugs and have to manipulate a config-file with a text-editor?
That's not a feature. That's a hack! Nothing official I guess.

Re: Material Catalogs

Strongly agree!!! To manage the different filaments is not a nice to have, it's a must have. I just bought the software and I'm thinking about to giving it back. Slic3r do have its own faults. But a Software called Simplify3D should be simple to use, I guess. Sorry for the hard words. I can live wit...
