Reimport mesh while preserving transform data (and other data)

It would be super nice to be able to right click on a stl that's already been imported and click reimport and have it automatically apply all the transform and translation data that was applied to the original file. I'm working on making a part and it needs to be rotated after being imported. It jus...

Re: Progress time

If you open the machine control panel (gear icon on the right panel) while printing, it gives you a current percentage of completion. I don't know why they don't have an estimated time remaining since they give that time, but yeah.... kind of annoying. I made a little webscript to do the calculation...

Re: Won't connect to da vinci 2.0 duo with repetier fw

So, I downgraded back to 3.1.1 (had the install file still luckily, since I didn't see a way to download older versions from the main download page) and it's all working after I re-setup everything. And again, repetier host still works with it. Must have something to do with how it sends and receive...

Re: Won't connect to da vinci 2.0 duo with repetier fw

So still nothing on this? It's really is annoying. Is it annoying that other S3D users don' have the same issue?? Or is it annoying that nobody from S3D has responded with a solution? This is a user forum that has simply been made available by S3D......and they do not respond to pleas for help on h...

Won't connect to da vinci 2.0 duo with repetier fw

Hey guys. I just updated to version 4.0 and it won't connect to my printer. It's an XYZPrinting da vinci 2.0/duo (whatever you want to called it) with the Repetier Firmware .94. In the machine control panel if I click connect I get this. Attempting connection at \\.\COM9... Testing plaintext communi...

Re: Slicer behavior for thin walled sections

How is this still not put in place? Can't even print a ring, cause parts of it would be floating due to thin walls being removed, yet free software like slicer and cura have no problems making a thin wall?

Ooze shield refuses to work (inconsistent layer height?)

So I'm trying to be able to use the ooze shield with an XYZPrinting Da Vinci 2.0, and it popped up an error stating "Prime pillars and ooze shields cannot be used with different layer heights. Please make sure that your layer height is the same between all processes." Both processes were m...
