Re: IDEX prime bucket G-code question.

I would love to see more info about this too because there are more and more IDEX systems out there. Good news is, I know S3D is testing a Flashforge Creator 3 (I have one too) and use it in some of their videos: https://twitter.com/Simplify3D/status/1149137566110760962 So I hope they can release so...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

I agree with the two posts before this, I use S3D a lot and like it but what's going on with the marketing department (it's not there I'm afraid). :( I have tested the Prusa slicer too, I agree it can be a major threat to S3D if they don't step up really fast. They don't even hint at what they are w...

Re: Flashforge Creator3

I am also waiting for this.. I really thought I would be printing with it more but I miss a Simplify3D profile. At Flashforge they say they sent a Creator 3 to S3D but a profile is still missing..

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

I agree that paying for upgrade is the norm for most software companies but I am having a hard time with doing so with S3D because from all the testing I have done with it and other slicers (which are free), there is not enough extra features to warrant it.. Yes the interface is fairly easy to use ...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

Yay, me too, bought on october 2018 and would be rather annoyed to see an eventual fee for the 5.0 release. If that will be the case I will consider having bought S3D a straight up "bad investement". Otherwise I would say it is actually a good investement since the software IS actually good and HAS...

Re: S3D Misses The Mark On Weight And Time Esimates By A Lot!

That is indeed very annoying. It's the one part I really hate about Simplify3D, the terribible undercalculation of time. And for the last update they promised great improvements in time calculation and even showed a stopwatch like it's spot on - it's still not! It's not uncommon for my prints to tak...

Re: Support separation gap, raft speed, and auto arrange distance management

I got a message that the support separation gap feature request was forwarded to the development team. I really hope they will add this, to be able to set the vertical distance between (dense) support and model material would be great. Different materials and layer heights require different distance...
