Re: Easiest 3D modeling software?

Getting slightly off topic as this is more focused on parametric modeling: I also heard a lot of good things about DesignSpark Mechanical (apparently SpaceClaim based). I think Creo Elements still is offered for free. This page is focused on free software for 3D printing but it is in Dutch: http://w...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2020 upcoming Version 5.0

So I assume that S3D V5 will be out in 2021 because of everything on top of the longest software update tease I've ever been a part of.... But seriously, is there any projections? Before Summer, during, after? I live within a 20min drive from S3D HQ here in Cincinnati, and most businesses like S3D ...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2020 upcoming Version 5.0

I don't think it is nice to talk about other software here even though you are disappointed about Simplify3D, that may be one of the reasons they modify the posts here - it's still their forum. Also negative talk that updates will never happen isn't helping anybody and not based on facts. That being...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2020 upcoming Version 5.0

Come on Simplify3D what are you doing? You are pushing away your paying customers. I can't take a company seriously that is deleting and changing posts on their own forum.. Please stop doing that and the negativity will go away when there is finally some real info about the update. Let's focus on th...

Re: Support Perimeter Option

I would really like this feature, Tiertime printers have this option and it really adds strength to the support structures.

Re: IDEX prime bucket G-code question.

I would love to see more info about this too because there are more and more IDEX systems out there. Good news is, I know S3D is testing a Flashforge Creator 3 (I have one too) and use it in some of their videos: https://twitter.com/Simplify3D/status/1149137566110760962 So I hope they can release so...

Re: Flashforge Creator3

I have sent the manual and the test gx/gcode that came with the printer to the support team, let's hope for a quick solution

Re: Flashforge Creator3

I am also waiting for this.. I really thought I would be printing with it more but I miss a Simplify3D profile. At Flashforge they say they sent a Creator 3 to S3D but a profile is still missing..

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

I agree that paying for upgrade is the norm for most software companies but I am having a hard time with doing so with S3D because from all the testing I have done with it and other slicers (which are free), there is not enough extra features to warrant it.. Yes the interface is fairly easy to use ...
