Yes I saw that, too. The seam snaps to a nearest ''protrusion'' which could be fine but to have the option and choose how the seam is placed is always nice.

The post I read spoke about version 4.1.2 as also not working like it should, can anybody confirm this always works for them?

People appear to be abandoning the product, based on the slow decline in postings here. I certainly could have learned to be proficient in another slicer in the time I have wasted checking for update info here. I think that's the only real option available right now. SLA support would be awesome, there is an evergrowing userbase out there that is looking for alternative slicing software.
