Re: Dual Material Settings - MADDENING! Unusable!??!?!

I don't have a dual extruder Setup but I use Multi processes quite often. It sounds to me as if your settings are grouped together? (also this Help article suggests that this may be the case -> https://www.simplify3d.com/support/articles/printing-with-multiple-extruders/ ) If that is the case: mark ...

Re: question regarding "Wait for temp. controller to stabili

Take a look under the "scripts" tab and "starting script" there should be something like this: [...] G1 X-10 Y-10 F6000 ; Move to wait position M7 ; Wait for bed to stabilize M6 T0 ; Wait for right extruder to reach target temp <-------------- G1 X-70 Y-70 F6000 ; Move to front l...

Re: How accurate do you think S3D cost estimate is?

Why not use the search when you're sure it has been asked a million times? 8-) If you have density, diameter and price, it should be pretty close. (closer than the estimated time I guess). Just do some prints and weight them? If it is off by a few grams, it does not change the price signif...

Re: Stringing Problem

Are you sure those are only strings? https://www.simplify3d.com/support/print-quality-troubleshooting/#stringing-or-oozing Those marks on the right side also looks like nozzle scratches to me. https://www.simplify3d.com/support/print-quality-troubleshooting/#scars-on-top-surface Do you have a direct...

Re: rafts on supports

Try the "Solid base layers" in Supports Tab. You can also add Rafts to your Support but I don't know if you can add Rafts only to supports, but I'd try the solid baser layers first.

Re: Extrusion multiplier and weight of final part

Well, considering that an extrusion Ratio of 1 isn't always the right amount (over / underextrusion), that density and weight differs depending on Filaments... it seems like a pretty strange Idea... especially if precision is what you want to achive. If you want to achive a 90 / 60 / 90 body it's ve...

Re: Extrusion multiplier and weight of final part

Have you tried weighing a part to see if it is even close the the slicers estimate, which is what it is, an estimate? The amount of filament used is a calculation so I imagine if you change the extrusion multiplier the calculation could change. It might be workable but I think the value given by th...

Re: Extrusion multiplier and weight of final part

Why not take a look at the part and then decide if it's good or not?
