Re: RHEL7 Bus Error

Never mind...I figured out I should be using LaunchScript.sh to launch Simplify and not the binary.

RHEL7 Bus Error

Recently installed RHEL7 to my home workstation and installed S3D 4.0.1. It works fine if I run it as root, but as soon as I run AddUserPermissions.sh the program won't launch any more and gives me a Bus error (core dumped) from the command line. I can't find a log file to get any details beyond tha...

Re: No retraction at end of print...

So here's what I've figured out. Apparently the MakerFlex filament needs to be under tension to print without kinking. I noticed that it would kink the fastest after the roll would tumble a little and loosen the feed. So I tightened up the captive nuts on my spool roll and it completed the print I w...

Re: No retraction at end of print...

I did check my ending script and I don't see anything there. Didn't think about the gcode file, but I just checked and I don't see anything there either. This is really weird.

I'm running a home built i3 with an E3D Titan and V6 hot end.

No retraction at end of print...

I'm printing with TPE and it's very flexible. I've disabled retraction entirely, but there must be a built in retraction at the end of the script because when I attempt to start a new print the filament is kinked in the extruder the same way it does when it tries to retract. I checked my ending scri...

Re: Can anyone slice this?

I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the program. Slices just fine now. I guess something got corrupted.

Re: Can anyone slice this?

Yeah, I'll share it once I get home. Everything was working great until last night when I tried to slice this. Restarted my computer because it kept locking up on this slice and all my processes disappeared. I added a new one and it looks like my default that disappeared, but I can't seem to recover...

Can anyone slice this?

I don't see any complaints in the comments on thingiverse, but I cannot get S3D to slice this. It sticks at calculating infill.

Re: Simplify lost all my processes

Ok, so they're stored in the registry then. What key should I be looking at? Maybe I can recover it from there.
