Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

Once Prusa gets their Slic3r PE to have the same ease of adding and removing supports as S3D has, it is game over for S3D. That is the one area they REALLLY shine in, and are FAR ahead of everyone else. It is nearly there, already. You can place and drag modifiers and support enforcres (boxes/cylin...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

Reading the first post of this thread I sat down and transfered my settings to Slic3rPE. It took me a day to be back in game and what should I say.... It prints pretty nice, even better in some parts. I now have all the functions, even whistles and bells people are asking and begging here in vain. D...

Re: Variable acceleration and Jerk

The addition "feature" came with 4.1.0 and is before every feature in the original gcode. Changing the acceleration for all those moves, you could put that values once in the start script which then is global for all moves. Just have a look in the gcode with a text editor and check what &q...

Re: Variable acceleration and Jerk

This code goes into the post processing script at the bottom of the window.
If you are already with 4.1.1 or 4.1.0 you need to to alter it slightly to
{REPLACE "; feature infill\n" "; infill\..........}
same goes for inner and outer perimeter as for the solid infill as well.

Re: thin walls not always filled with single extrusions

Aaaawwwww.
You got me. Zooming in it indeed is a zig-ag line.
No matter what, problem solved by increasing the outline overlap. (and that not by much)
Suggestion for improvement made.
Thanks again for all your help.

Re: thin walls not always filled with single extrusions

Thank you both S3D-Alex and dkightley. You are certainly right, I couldn´t explain how I missed the outline overlap as reason for this. Increasing the overlap certainly solved this problem for me. Just an idea... Why not making this a feature? Where there is need for 40%-50% outline overlap for infi...
