Re: Dual Extrusion Ooze Shield - How To Prime On All Layers?

An alternative (and arguably better) approach would be to stick with the multiple processes and switch off the redundant extruder when it's not being used. You need to allow some warm-up time, but that should be easy to allow for. That way you should get no ooze and also save some power.

Re: Vase mode issue

Could it be as simple as the wall thickness being too thin?

Re: License info

Yes, each licence allows for installation on two machines. As far as I know there is no limitation whereby the machines need to be running the same OS.

Re: Full Fan for Last Layer of Dense Supports.

That sounds like a really interesting idea which makes a lot of sense. I may have a play with that using processes to see what difference it makes.

Re: Accessibility issue for color blind people

I'm colour blind too and I have a further idea: how about when you click on the Feature Type in the list, it is highlighted in the preview screen - perhaps with the other features turning grey? Maybe allow multiple selections too? working in the same way? That is grey out deselected features? I too ...

Re: BRIM help

The short answer is that a brim is simply a skirt with a zero mm offset from part.

Go to Additions and configure the number of layers and outlines for your brim, but select 0mm for offset and Bob's your uncle!

I didn't realise this had changed either. That does seem like a backward step to me too.

Re: PVA not sticking to PLA

Hi there, I'm trying a few prints that use PVA as the dense infill. Ideally, the PVA serves as an interface between the PLA supports and the PLA piece. We've had success when all the supports are in PVA. The PVA is able to adhere perfectly to the build platform, and then the PLA is able to stick on...

Re: Print direction and cross hatching

I've not seen that. Every print I can remember does alternate each layer on top or bottom. I assume that's what you're referring to? If you look at the preview, does it show the print being parallel (vertically) as you describe? What happens if you rotate the print? I'd be inclined to try that and s...

Re: Top Layer w/ "engraving" question

If I've understood you correctly then there are a number of possible options. One simple one would be to use the Variable Settings Wizard and create a change of process a few layers below the top to increase the density of the infill below the top layers - or simply increase the number of top layers...
